The challenge
The planning and preparation of a wedding is an elaborate affair that involves many different points and service providers. A central aspect is the booking of a wedding photographer who captures the most beautiful moments of the big day. However, it can be difficult for clients and photographers alike to keep track of all the important information and dates. The process can become chaotic when it comes to finding and booking appointments and organising and managing images.
The solution
To simplify the process, a web app was developed that digitally maps the complete customer journey of wedding photographers' clients. The portal includes a modern user interface that allows users to enter important information, book appointments and keep track of all necessary details.
The new website offers the following functions:
Appointment booking: Customers can specify their desired date and match the available dates of all photographers. The appointment is then booked automatically and the booking information is sent to the photographer.
Individual daily schedule: Customers can enter the schedule of their wedding in the app and send it to the photographer. This way, the photographer can make sure to capture all the important moments.
Image download: After the images have been edited, clients can access and download them via their user account.
In order to develop the administrative functions as efficiently as possible, the admin backend was implemented with Laravel Nova. Nova offers a user-friendly interface with a simultaneously high range of functions and low development costs.
The result
The new web app offers wedding photographers and clients alike an easy way to book appointments and share information. The app is designed to be intuitive and user-friendly, helping to make the process of finding and booking appointments and organising and managing images stress-free and easy for clients and photographers.
